CSP technology is going through a period of both turmoil and excitement.

Turmoil because of the recent subsidy cuts to the industry in several European countries.

Excitement because of the recent creation of the CSP Alliance, an initiative put together by Abengoa, BrightSource Energy and Torresol Energy, aimed to educate US regulators on the benefits of the technology. And more excitement about countries like South Africa, emerging markets betting big on CSP.

In this blog we share with you our knowledge and expertise in reference to the electrical heat tracing system in CSP plants, and although occasionally we try to analyze other matters related to the industry, we have specific channels we believe more appropriate to take on these topics.
